Returns & Refunds Policy
At Pravaah, each product is handcrafted in small batches using sustainable materials and traditional techniques. Slight variations in colour, print, or finish are intrinsic to handmade products and add to their uniqueness. However, we are committed to your satisfaction and outline below our clear policies for returns, exchanges, and refunds to ensure a fair and smooth experience for all.
1. Damaged or Defective Products
If you receive a product that is broken or has a clear manufacturing defect, please notify us within 24 hours of delivery. To ensure your claim is valid, the following must be provided:

An unboxing video clearly showing the product and packaging upon opening.

A photo of the outer packaging and the internal contents with the product visible.
Please Note: Claims are only considered if the outer packaging is available and intact. Our team will assess the issue and confirm eligibility for a replacement or store credit. Products with minor imperfections due to handmade processes are not considered defective.
2. Change of Mind / Returns & Exchanges
If you are unsure or unhappy with your purchase, we offer the option of exchange or return within 24 hours of delivery, subject to the following conditions:

The product must be unused, in original condition, and in its original packaging with all tags and inserts intact.

Items must be returned within 7 days of approval of return.

A fixed reverse shipping charge of INR 200 will apply on products upto INR 2500 and and INR 300 for order above INR 3000
-
Return pickups are available only in select PIN codes.
Pravaah is not liable for returns lost in transit. Any credits will be awarded only once the product has been returned to us.
3. Non-Returnable / Non-Refundable Items
The following items are non-returnable and non-refundable due to their fragile nature or hygiene concerns:

Candles

Air Fresheners
-
Ceramics
-
Gift Boxes
If these items arrive damaged, please notify us within 24 hours with unboxing evidence, and we will address the issue appropriately.
4. Refunds

Approved refunds will be issued as store credit only, redeemable on future purchases from the Pravaah website. Valid for 1 year from the date of purchase.

Store credit is processed within 24–48 working hours after the issue is resolved or the returned item is received and inspected.
-
For Cash on Delivery (COD) orders, refunds may take up to 21 working days to process.
-
Shipping fees, customisation charges, and express delivery charges are non-refundable.
5. Delivery Delays
Refunds are not provided for standard delivery delays. However, if an express order is delayed beyond the promised timeline, we will offer:

A full refund of the shipping cost, and
-
10% of the order’s MRP as store credit.
6. Cancellations

Orders may be cancelled within 12 hours of placing the order, provided they have not yet been dispatched.

Customised or made-to-order items cannot be cancelled once confirmed.
-
Items purchased during sales, festivals, or promotional collaborations are final sale and not eligible for cancellation or return.
7. Refused Deliveries / Incorrect Address

If delivery is refused without prior communication, or if an incorrect shipping address is provided, the order will be marked “Return to Origin.”

The customer will bear the cost of both forward and reverse logistics in such cases.

Any eligible refund will be issued after deduction of logistics charges.
8. Custom & Bulk Orders

All customised, personalised, or bulk/corporate orders are final sale.
-
These are non-returnable, non-exchangeable, and non-refundable unless damaged in transit.
-
Customisation charges and courier fees are non-refundable under all circumstances.
-
Points 1,4,7 and 9 also apply; please refer to the T&C document shared for further clarification.
9. Colour and Craft Variation Disclaimer
Due to the handmade nature of our products:

Minor variations in weave, colour, and print are expected and celebrated.

Product colours may also vary slightly due to screen settings or photography lighting.
These differences do not qualify as defects and are not valid grounds for exchange or refund.
